Meet the Fighters
We are forgotten in the United States Preventative Service's Task Force Recommendation that women are not screened for breast cancer until the age of 50, however we are not alone. We stand together, united in the fight for younger women. Together we fight to change the perceived social mindset that young women are not at risk for breast cancer unless they have a family history of the disease, but we also fight to empower women to be their own breast advocates, and above all, we are hoping to push the government to reverse the recommendation, and implement early detection measures for younger women.
FIGHT FOR YOUNGER WOMEN. FIGHT FOR EARLY DETECTION.
While the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force now recommends that breast cancer screenings begin at age 50, women much younger than this are being diagnosed every day. And unfortunately, far too late for a majority of them. Be a part of the change that will help give younger women a fighting chance against breast cancer.
